CAN YOU HELP?
If you have any items, photos or articles that you think may be of interest please contact editor@tvrcc.com

GUIDELINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES
  • Sprint welcomes articles submitted by members and other enthusiasts. The editor of Sprint encourages contact from anyone considering writing an article.
  • The TVR Car Club (TVRCC) does not pay for submissions. In certain circumstances, expenses may be claimed but this must be agreed before such costs are incurred.
  • It is assumed that anyone who submits an article to Sprint for publication agrees to having it edited as the editor thinks fit.
  • In common with most other periodicals, the TVRCC assumes first serial rights to the article. Please speak with the editor if you are unsure of the meaning of this phrase.
  • If the article has been published before in any form, this should be stated on submission of the article.
  • The preferred length of an article is up to 1250 words. However, if it is felt that justice cannot be done to the subject without substantially more, please speak with the editor before submission. If it is anticipated that a submitted article is likely to be a main feature, it must be discussed with the editor beforehand.
  • The preferred method for submission is via email to editor@tvrcc.com. The text may be included in the body of the email, in rich text preferably, or as an attachment in Word.
  • Those wishing to submit tables or graphs should contact the editor before sending.
  • Text can be submitted by post, preferably printed in a Word type document or typed. Handwritten manuscripts are acceptable but must be legible.
  • Photographs are essential. Anyone having difficulty sourcing suitable photographs should speak with the editor before submission.
  • The preferred method for submission of images is via post on CD to: The Editor, Pentheos, Founthill Road, Saltdean, Brighton,BN2 8AJ
  • Images may be sent via email but no single email should exceed 8mb. Images should not be cut or trimmed but sent in original format as downloaded from the camera. The preferred minimum size of digital photograph is 3 megapixel compressed via jpeg to >1 meg. Note that this is minimum standard. It would be preferred if CDs are not expected to be returned. However, if they are, please write this on the disc itself with non-invasive ink. Please phone the editor for advice on digital photographs if you are unsure of any point.
  • TVRCC cannot guarantee the safety of submitted photographs so it is advisable to retain a copy and/or the negatives.
  • The editor cannot guarantee a date for publication except in exceptional circumstances.
  • Sprint is read by all ages; authors must take this into account when considering subject, content and language.
  • Note that the above are guidelines only and may be varied in exceptional circumstances.
  • No article which the editor deems to encourage the breaking of any law, either directly or by inference, will be printed.
