Trevor Wilkinson Trophy – 2014
(Posted on 03/01/2015)
The Trevor Wilkinson Trophy was inaugurated and hand made by Trevor himself in 1997 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Trevcar Motors and is awarded annually to the Club member who, in the opinion of the judges, has completed the most comprehensive restoration of a TVR in the previous 12 months.
There have been some very prestigious winners of this trophy including the Le Mans Grantura, then owned by Ian Massey-Crosse, and Andy Hutcheson's first production 350i. The current holder is Howard Bryan whose stunning restoration of Peter Wheeler’s White Elephant was awarded the trophy at last year’s AGM. The search is now on for the 2014 recipient; the period covered by this award is cars whose restoration was completed between 1st January to 31st December 2014.  full story

Sprint News Needs You!!
(Posted on 28/10/2014)
As always, Sprint is the magazine it is because of input from you, the members. Our team of voluntary Editors (yes, we do this in our 'spare' time!!!) work hard every month to bring you a magazine packed full of TVR articles and news.

However, we know there's a lot of interesting stuff out there that we don't get to see..... so we need to add yet another Newshound to help us track even more of them down.

If you have an interest in all things TVR, and a few hours spare per month to collate and chase TVR news stories for us, please get in touch!

Even if you don't feel you'd like to join the team, please always think of us when you see anything interesting! In either case we always love to hear from you at editor@tvrcc.com

Tim takes DTEC title for third time
(Posted on 22/10/2014)
2009/2012 Dunlop TVR Champion Tim Davis made it three championships in six years at Oulton Park at the weekend when he lifted the 2014 trophy after his seventh win of the season in his AJP Tuscan. Close behind was Class B Champion Jim Walsh in his Tuscan RV8 and in third position, and second in Class A was 2011 Champion Hugh Marshall, also in an ATP Tuscan. Class C was won by championship rookie Mike Luck in a Chimaera, fourth overall. Last year’s champion, Dean Cook, had moved up to Class A+ with a Sagaris AJP in which he took class honours and eighth overall with nine victories and one second place. Congratulations to them all.

As the TVRCC Speed Championship entered its final round at Castle Combe in wet, windy and wild conditions, it was Mike Roe who led the championship. But a perfect round by Steve Mogg just clinched it to take the season's honours. Congratulations Steve; full report in the motorsport page.
