Do You Own a Griffith 4.3/4.5 Big Valve?
(Posted on 19/04/2004)
In which case, we need to hear from you. In the January 2003 edition of TVR Sprint, our then Chairman, Chris Wright, used his “Chairman’s Chat” to invite contributions from Griff owners past & present for the section of Roger Shackleton's forthcoming Griffith book (due to be published by the autumn of this year) attempting to elucidate ‘the story’ from the perspective of past or present owners. The response was almost overwhelming and all the pictures & stories that were forthcoming have greatly contributed to last year’s research effort. Roger should now like to invite further contributions from members concerning one area where information is rather thin at present.   full story

Griff Growl 2004
(Posted on 17/03/2004)
Ever had a really good idea? Well last year someone had a great idea to hold a Griff Growl one bright but cold Sunday afternoon in October at a pub in Leamington called the Griffin Inn. Despite being organised with about a week to go, there was a really good turn out of around 25 or so Griffs with a few other models thrown in for good measure – couple of Chims, couple of Cerbies and a Tuscan! So this year, we’re doing it on a bigger scale, inviting everyone to join in, over 2 days, with lots to see and do! The Griff Growl & TVR Gathering 2004 is being held on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August at the National Heritage Centre and Motor Museum at Gaydon near Warwick with cordoned off parking for TVR’s and we’d love to see you there. Everyone’s welcome.   full story
