Dean Cook made it 4 wins out of 5 at Brands Hatch today to take the chequered flag in the TVRCC Challenge Cup and so to keep up the pressure on championship leader Mickey Holden who again took honours in Class C.   full story
   
Tributes to Trevor Wilkinson

We know that in addition to the one minutes silence announced yeterday to be held at Brands Hatch, many members and enthusiasts are planning small acts of memorium for Trevor Wilkinson this weekend.
We are therefore grateful to members Colin Lyons (for supplying the photograph) and Steve Davis for designing an A5 card that you can download, print and place in your windscreen for these events.   full story
   
Trevor Wilkinson - One Minute's Silence

We are pleased to announce that following discussions with the management at Brands Hatch, there will be a one minute silence in memory of Trevor held on Sunday 15th June during the race meeting featuring the TVRCC Challenge Cup/Dunlop TVR Challenge. Exact timings are yet to be finalised but it is hoped to be just prior to the start of the TVR race. We are grateful to Dr Palmer and all of the team at Motorsport Vision for agreeing to this, and also to TVRCC Regional Organisers Richard Flittner (E Sussex) and Nick Smith (NW Kent) for their efforts in arranging it. More details will be published as soon as we have them.

Trevor Wilkinson 1923-2008

It is with great sadness that we must announce that our patron and founder of TVR, Trevor Wilkinson, passed away peacefully in hospital in Menorca this morning after a long illness. He was surrounded by friends. He was 85.  full story

Trevor Update

Members and enthusiasts will wish to be aware that our patron and founder of TVR, Trevor Wilkinson, remains very frail in hospital in Menorca following his recent illness. He is said to be delighted to be receiving cards from all his friends, fans and wellwishers and these appear to be cheering him up. We would like to take this opportunity to send him our continued best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The Speed Championship resumes this weekend (Saturday 17th May) at the prestigious Loton Park Hillclimb located near Shrewsbury. All support is welcomed. Practice starts at 9am, first official timed runs will start at about lunch time.   full story
   
Trevor Wilkinson

The TVRCC has today learnt that our patron and founder of TVR, Trevor Wilkinson, has been taken seriously ill and is in hospital in Menorca. We would like to take this opportunity to send him our very best wishes for a speedy recovery. 
   
TVRCC Speed Championship this weekend

We have received a few messages from supporters who would like to come along to the event at MIRA this weekend. Unfortunately, owing to the confidential nature of the work carried out at MIRA, there is absolutely no access for members of the public to the sprint event being hosted there.
The next round is at Loton Park on May 17th and members are more than welcome to come along and support the drivers there.

TVR back in Britain?

The TVRCC is aware of the various rumours that have come into the public domain in the past few days surrounding the alleged new TVR development facility set up just outside Blackpool. We would not wish to add to the speculation but we are of course investigating these rumours.
As soon as we have anything factual that we can report to members, it will be published here. Until then, and if the rumours are true, then of course we wish the team all success for the rebirth of TVR
